Bitpay, the company behind Bitcoin, the virtual currency, released an open source library called Bitcore to help developers develop applications enabled to use payments with Bitcoin. It is a Javascript library, released under an MIT-style license, and a fork of Bitcoin.js, a library developed by a user/developer group called Weusecoins.
