Linux Foundation Releases “Automotive Grade” OS

The Linux Foundation announced a release of a flavor of Linux especially designed for automotive systems, such as HVAC, media playback, and Bluetooth phone.  Another step in the inevitable integration of Linux into vehicles — though it is still in ancillary systems rather than drivetrain.
